It was like this to become one of the three regular writers of the adventures of the Man of Steel in his many series with Otto Binder, Edmond Hamilton. That year, as we will soon here, was particularly prolific for the character thanks to the leadership of editor Mort Weisinger . After the controversy of 1948, Siegel Superman dealt with the condition not stated in the credits, and he had some stories that are classics today and we will discuss shortly in this section. The two episodes he wrote for Superman no. 133, the first of its new stage in DC, contained two of the characteristics of the "Era Weisinger, ie, review the past of the character and created a story implausible. In "How Perry White Hired Kent Clark, a newcomer to Metropolis Clark got a job at the Daily Planet by the trust of Lois Lane and a photo of his alter ego, Superman, which tricks properly. For its part, "Superman Joins the Army" reached the general character after proving their worth in the military, which he joined at the insistence of Captain John Grimes. DC Siegel leave again in 1965, when it resurfaced legal issues concerning the rights of Superman.
